List of Menu commands available in GEAR2000 program

- Menù 'New' of GEAR2000-

New Data : Reset the WIZARD DIALOG data to start with a new project.

Load: Load data from file stored using Output->Save Data command.

Recent Files: List of recent files opened.

Exit: Exit program.

Modify Data: Allows to change or confirm the previously entered data.

Pinion Profile: Make Pinion Profile and generates solid 3D model.

Wheel Profile: Make Wheel Profile and generates solid 3D model.

Cancel last screw: Cancel the last segment of co-rotating/counter rotating screw extruder.

Meshing: Display mashing simulation between Wheel and Pinion.

Calculated Data: Display all available data into HTML-format window.

Axial Section of Screw: Calculate axial section of active object and allows it to be exported to a CAD-2D format.

Normal Section of Screw: Calculate normal section of active object and allows it to be exported to a CAD-2D format.

Interference between solids: Calculate interference between active objects and displays contact areas in red.

Calculation of Tool shape: Show input DIALOG for machining tools calculation. (Grind Wheel profile or End-Mill tool shape).

Probing of central screw: Calculate data for probing the central screw and allows to export TXT file or CAD-2D format.

Probing of lateral screw: Calculate data for probing the lateral screw and allows to export TXT file or CAD-2D format.

Save Data: Saves active job.

Save Data As: Saves active job inserting new file name.

Save CAD 2D: Exports profiles (section, tool, probing etc.) to a CAD 2D format file (DXF , MI , TXT ... )

Save 3D Model : Saves active solids objects to a CAD 3D format file(IGES3D, STEP, STL o VRML ).

Table: Display drawing table containing geometric and numeric data.
