CYLINDRICAl-TRANSLATING CAM

To generate this type of Cam it is necessary to have defined the first curve based on the Total Length (Cyl-Translating Cam) option.

When defining the Curves, the Length of Stage refers to the length [mm] of the track along the vertical axis of the cylinder; the Total Displacement refers to the rotation [degrees] of the Cam or, reciprocally, of the Follower when the Cam is moved linearly.

It is possible to define the Track on the cylinder so that it protrudes from the cylinder (Worm) or with a Groove within which the Roller slides.
